I feel so ashamed - I haven't drawn a single drawing in the past week (or maybe two). It's crazy. Then again...
OMFGIGOTAWii
The two games I had gotten for it were Zelda: Twilight Princess (full of awesomeness) and Tales of Symphonia II. Let me tell you though, ToS II was the biggest disappointment I have ever known. ToS was frickin' amazing, and so I was so psyched to play the second (though I did expect it to be not quite as good). 33 hours after beginning the game and straight after beating it, I just thought "...That's it?" Seriously though, it wasn't just a little worse, it was a whole lot worse. The plot was too straightforward/simple/predictable (it was a pretty good idea originally, though), with no twists like the first had, it was absolutely FILLED with cheesy/lame moments, and my god the romance was lame. Plus, the game ended within 35 hours (completing everything possible, other than reaching lvl 100). The first takes at least 55, not including all the extra stuff you can do. It really saddens me that such a great series turned into...that.
Sorry, I ranted quite a bit there.
Lol, to improve my mood (I finished the game early Sunday afternoon, so my mood made it impossible to do any school work) I began playing Tales of the Abyss again x'D. I'm such a Tales nerd, haha. Which reminds me...I need to do some fan art for it...
Anyways, Christmas (break) is just around the corner, WOOHOO. My family is actually going on vacation the first week. We're going to Aruba (I really don't favor the cold, so going somewhere warm is awesome), and we leave on the 18th (lol, a lot of my friends are cursing me for leaving the day before school end xP). It's actually almost become a tradition for my family to go to Aruba for Christmas (I think my parents are tired of researching different islands, lol) ^^'''. I'll be having a White (sand) Christmas, harhar (yes, that's my lame joke of the day
School is actually alright at the moment. Normally, teachers are hurrying to pile projects on us before the break, but there doesn't seem to be any signs of that...yet. But UGH. In English class we're studying Shakespeare (Othello)...shootmenowplease. It probably doesn't help that I don't like plays very much (particularly musicals)...especially not studying them. Though I don't really know why that's the case
I'm also feeling a little sick...bleh (having a stuffy nose drives me insane).
Haha, forgive me for going off on a tangent, but does anyone else find this H1M1 business a bit ridiculous? At least, I know Canada is being all neurotic about it (then again, we ARE a very neurotic nation). Sure, humanity is due for another pandemic/epidemic (or whatever it's called), but come one, it's just another flu virus. People are practically running around like headless chickens because of it <___<'''. I know a lot of people at school who are saying things like "OMFG, I caught a mild case of H1M1 - I had to STAY IN BED, I was THROWING UP, and I felt SO SICK I COULDN'T MOVE." Well, no shit Sherlock, that's generally what it means to catch the flu. It's actually kind of funny now that I think about it.
Well, I hope everyone is holding up as well.
Until next time (whenever that may be)!
